CHRIST CHURCH W4 IS A PLACE WHERE YOUNG PEOPLE BELONG,
HAVE FUN AND THRIVE
EXPLORE WHAT YOUTH GROUPS WE HAVE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
We have a fun, chilled, welcoming youth group for those aged between 11-18. We meet at each Friday in term time at Christ Church Turnham Green, 6:30 - 8:30pm.
Over the last year we've made tie-dye masks, games in the dark, murder mysteries, made slime, hosted 'Come Dine With Me' evenings and much more… We then split into PODs (pockets of disciples) to grow in faith and community in small groups.

BEATING HEART YOUTH MINSTER
REACHING YOUNG PEOPLE ACROSS LONDON AND SUPPORTING CHURCHES
Youth Minsters are an initiative from the London Diocese to reach more young people and support youth ministry in other churches.
Our aim is that you would feel part of the Youth Minster. We do not exist for ourselves, but for the whole area. A phrase we've found helpful in describing who we are and what we're about is:
"We are a collective passionate about youth encountering Jesus, impacting West London, seeing young lives transformed."
If that resonates with you, you are part of the collective! And we will signpost more ways we can feel like we're heading towards that big vision together.
We have made a confirmation course called Confirmed. The course prepares young people for confirmation and long term discipleship by encouraging engagement with Christian spiritual disciplines - the young people collect corresponding badges along the way, which has proved quite fun. It would make a good discipleship series as well as being a good staple for confirmation classes.
WE WANT CHILDREN TO KNOW THEY ARE SIGNIFICANT, SECURE AND ACCEPTED
We also recommend checking out Urban Saint’s Energize curriculum. It has tonnes of youth series ideas pre-planned for you, but it also lets you tweak the content and build your own session using their bank of games, activities and bible studies.
Youth For Christ also have a brilliant range of resources, curriculum and content available. Do check it out and see what’s a good fit for you.
We have uploaded 4 fully planned youth sessions, top tips, articles and ideas available for you to download and try out in your church setting.

Zoe Phillips - our Youth Pastor - is also a Kensington Area Youth Champion, Youth Advocate for the London Diocese, and has a specific focus on Church Liaison as part of the Youth Minster. She is readily available to listen/advise and consult on any youth work matters for you, no matter what church you’re in.
Zoe also co-leads a youth worker support group; Soul Net meets once a month at St. Alban's, in Fulham. If you are a youth worker looking for community, this is the place to come.
