Sundays at Christ Church W4

Christ Church Turnham Green

9:30AM - Healing service with communion

A 60-minute service including 3 hymns, a talk on a contemporary issue, and Holy Communion. This simple service attracts people of all ages for relevant Bible teaching, a safe space to meet God in a time-honoured fashion, with some classic hymns. A crèche is available and children are very welcome, including to be part of our new children’s choir. Quality tea and coffee are served after the service and prayer ministry is always available.

6pM - Informal

This service shares the same values of our morning services with worship, teaching and prayer ministry, but in a more informal and relaxed atmosphere. All are welcome.

There is no dedicated children's work, but a self-service creche is available. Join us for cakes and good tea and coffee afterwards.

Worship and prayer ministry continues after the formal end of the service from 7:15pm to 8pm (and sometimes longer), so you can choose to go, stay for refreshments and community time, or keep pressing in to a time of worship.

10.30am - Contemporary

A 70-minute contemporary service, featuring lively and relevant Bible teaching on contemporary issues, dynamic worship & prayer ministry. Singing is led by our band and fuses new songs from the likes of Worship Central, New Wine and Hillsong, with some older classics/hymns. A full range of children’s & youth activities are available most weeks and occasionally we have all-age worship services which are slightly shorter. Tea and coffee are served before and after the service there is always someone to pray with.

Venue: St Alban’s Acton Green

10:50am - Youth Congregation

The youth gather for the opening worship at the 10:30am service at St Alban’s and then head to the Mission Hall for further worship, discussion, teaching and prayer ministry.

Youth are encouraged to get involved in leadership, with several leading Bible studies/giving short talks.

The format gives young people space to explore and grapple with real life issues for themselves, and builds on the community building activities of Thursday and Friday night youth groups, the Youth Minster events and trips away. They return to St Alban’s for refreshments.
