What is The Shelter Project?
The Shelter Project allows up to 14 homeless guests to use our church space as a warm place to spend the night and have food - running from December to March. Christ Church W4 hosts homeless guests once per week during these months.

How can I get involved?
Anyone interested in volunteering for the coming season should email Peter Williams for more information or to sign up.

The Shelter Project Hounslow wins Queen's Award

I am delighted to let you that The Shelter Project Hounslow has won the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service for 2017. This is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work in their communities. It is the MBE for voluntary groups. The awards were created in 2002 to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and winners are announced each year on the anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation.

This award has been made possible by all the hard work and dedication of our volunteers.  I would like to give thanks and pay tribute to all who have worked together to provide a friendly and caring atmosphere; welcoming our guests, giving them respect and dignity as well as food and a bed.
— Mrs. Jennifer P. Corbin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees

We would like to thank all of you who helped run the Shelter Project at Christ Church W4 in 2016/17.
