24 hours of prayer at St Alban's

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place." (2 Chronicles 7.14-15)

From 9am on Saturday 20th June, through until 9am Sunday 21st of Sunday, St Alban's, and specifically the Ascension Chapel will host 24 hours of continuous prayer.

We know that God isn't impressed by long prayers and fancy words... so why do 24 hours of prayer? Well, because he does look to the heart, he seeks humble, honest and hungry hearts, hearts in line with his kingdom values, hearts with a desire to see forgiveness, healing and revival in our land. So don't come if you feel 'obliged', come if you feel God calling you to pray and seek his face. You won't be disappointed!

You can sign up for hour long prayer slots (or longer) at the back of church or via this website, run by the amazing guys at 24/7 Prayer: http://www.24-7prayer.com/signup/257e4e
