Richard explains how ‘we might as well wait’ because God has got everything under his ultimate control. He refers to Rembrandt’s painting The Prodigal Son, and asks are we like the cross and angry older brother who wants to tell his father who to judge, or have we learnt to wait and trust God when everything goes wrong.
